What’s New in CoLab—April 2023

3D Mouse Support

Users are now able to use any 3DConnexion SpaceMouse to navigate and manipulate 3D objects in CoLab.

• This setting can be disabled at any time
• No initial setup is required

Other Improvements

• Added a setting to give users the ability to edit the contents of packages
• Users can now remove or hide measurements from the model and model browser
• Users can now hide or show all pins on a model for clearer viewing
• Added a setting to allow users to adjust the sensitivity of their zoom functions in the 3D viewer
• Feedback entered without a feedback title will now have a title automatically populated based on the text
• Added a setting to enable the axis triad to remain visible when viewing or interacting with cutting planes or measurements
• After selecting a markup tool, pressing the ‘esc’ key will return users to the select area tool
• Windchill users can now bulk-upload files to CoLab instead of uploading files individually
• Windchill users will only see the “Share with CoLab” option within Windchill after they’ve logged into CoLab
