Tell us a little about yourself, Bob!
My name is Joseph; I go by Alex; CoLab calls me Bob. I’ve been working for CoLab for 5 years as a developer. I aim to bring silliness to everything I do.
How did you first get into software development?
In grade 5 I built a website that collected bad jokes and flash games I liked. I’ve been writing code ever since.
Why did you first join CoLab? What’s the most exciting thing about working here?
Before I joined CoLab, it was just a small startup without an office or staff. I thought I’d learn fast before the company’s probable short demise, then move to other things. Well I certainly learned fast working here but, it turns out, it’s also a fantastic business. What’s most exciting about Colab is that we’re constantly changing and improving!
If you had to be shipwrecked on a deserted island, but all your human needs—such as food and water—were taken care of, what two items would you want to have with you?
Headphones so I can dance to electro-swing while I explore the island. A towel: it’s just about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can carry, so… that sounds good enough for me.
