This week we released version 1.20 and 1.21 with a number of UI/UX improvements, new features, and bug fixes.
Project Creation API. Users can now create projects via the CoLab API. Documentation for the project API can be found here.
Added Text Box to PDF Markup. Users can now add text boxes to PDF markups.
Export to CSV or PDF from Dashboard. Users can now filter and then export issues to PDF and CSV format directly from the dashboard.
Faster Issue Loading. The issues lists now load faster on the dashboard and project pages, improving app load times significantly for users that have a large number of issues.
Issue Attachment Loading Indicator. Users are now shown a loading icon when adding screenshots or images to an issue. Previously, if a screenshot or image was slow to upload, it was unclear if the upload was working.
File Revision Prefix. Changed the default prefix on new file revisions from “G” to “V”.
Make Orthographic View Default. Previously the default view mode for 3D files was “Perspective” - it has been changed to “Orthographic”.
Undo/Redo for PDF Markups. Users can now undo/redo actions while creating PDF markups using ctrl+z and ctrl+y on their keyboard
Loading Bar for PDFs. On slow internet connections, large PDFs can take some time to load. Previously, a bug was preventing the loading bar from displaying every time a PDF was loaded. This has been resolved, and the loading bar now displays more prominently at the bottom left of the viewer window. It is now clear when the PDF is downloading, and when it will be ready to view.
Disabled Auto-Fill on Issue Create. Google Chrome’s auto-fill feature was suggesting issue names from other projects on the issue create input field. This has been disabled.
Notification on Markup Issue Assignment. Assigning a PDF markup to another user via the card to the right of the document would not send that user a notification. This has been resolved.
