This week we released version 1.14 of Gradient which included a number of great user experience improvements across the app.
Download PDF reports directly. Users can now download PDF exports directly rather than having them sent to their email. This allows for exporting large numbers of issues to a PDF.
Create Perfect Shapes and Horizontal/Vertical Lines in Markup. When creating shapes, lines and or arrows in the markup tools, users can now hold the shift key to create a perfect square or circle, or a truly horizontal/vertical line or arrow.
Added Text to Sidebar Icons. All navigation icons in the sidebar now have text to further describe what page or feature that icon links to.
Order Project List by Recently Modified. The projects list on the Dashboard page is now ordered by most recently modified, keeping more relevant projects at the top.
User Can Create Project from Dashboard. Users can now create a project from the project list on the Dashboard page rather than having to open the project list in the sidebar.
Welcome Screen for New Users. When new users land on the Dashboard page they will see a full page welcome screen that invites them to take a tour, watch an introductory video, visit our helpdesk or just get started.
Drag and Drop Review Slides. When in “Edit Review” mode, users can drag review slides in the side panel to change the order of review slides.
Delete Review Slides from List. When in “Edit Review” mode, users can delete review slides from the slide list in the side panel by clicking the options menu that appears when hovering over the slide.
Improved Errors and Alerts. Error messages and alerts now appear in the top right corner of the app. This allows users to continue working without interruption when errors occur.
Duplicate File List. Uploading a file with the “Users” panel open would cause a duplicate list of files to appear in the “Files” panel after the file was uploaded. This has been resolved.
PDF Name Error. Certain characters in the name of an uploaded PDF file would cause errors that resulted in not being able to view the PDF. This has been resolved.
