This week we released version 1.13 of Gradient. This release focused on major UI/UX improvements to the review planner, as well as the ability to export PDF reports from the Issue List page.
Export Multiple Issues to a PDF Report. Users can export issues filtered on the Issue List page to a PDF report. Checkout this helpdesk article to learn how. Currently, PDF reports are sent via email, which limits their size to approximately 10mb. Soon users will be able to download the PDF directly, allowing for much larger reports.
Review Slides List. The design review interface has been updated to display all review slides in the side panel, making it easier to find and navigate to a specific slide, and edit the review.
Quick Version Change/Comparison Tool. Using a new drop down menu located at the top of the viewer, users can quickly change between file versions while maintaining the same view point, to see what has changed between versions.
Associate Files with Issues. Users can now associate files with issues using a drop down in the issue panel. Soon this will allow for filtering of issues based on file - great for determining what’s blocking a part or assembly from release.
Arrow and Line Movement in Markups. Users can now position arrows and lines by moving the end points rather than rotating them about the middle.
Accounting for First Person Mode in Review Planner. The review planner now records whether the view was created while in First Person Mode, and if so, reapplies First Person Mode when on that view.
Review Slide Moving off Screen. Previously, if a review slide was on the far right side of the screen, opening the side panel would push it off of the screen. This has been fixed.
Linking to Large Files in Review. When launching a review of a large file (>500mb), the reviewer tool would sometimes not re-apply the state correctly (e.g. hidden components). This has been fixed.
