This week we released version 1.11 of Gradient. This release we focused on usability of the issue tracking system, and further user experience improvements to the markup tools.
Issue Search in Project. Users can now search through issues in the sidebar on the project page. The search will filter issues based on title, status and priority.
Attach Images to Issue. Users can now upload images from their file system and attach them to an issue in Gradient.
Manage Users from Admin Page. Company admins can now add users to their company from within the admin page. They can also delete users which will remove their access to any projects they were in.
Pin Issues. You can now pin issues to the top of the issue list inside of a project by right clicking on the issue card and selecting “Pin Issue”.
Draw Over Existing Markup Components. Previously, markup components could be selected and moved with any of the markup tools activated. This made it impossible to draw over existing components. This has been resolved by allowing users to only select and move components with the select tool.
Textbox Improvements. Several improvements to textbox usability were made in this release. These include:
Font size can now be changed
The default textbox width has been increased
Textboxes now “auto select”, meaning they can be resized immediately
Clicking away from a textbox does not unexpectedly create a new text box
Shapes Auto Select. Shapes like circle, square and cloud will also “auto select”, allowing the user to resize them immediately.
Issues List Real-time Update. The issue list table on this page now updates in real time as you edit issues in the sidebar (e.g. change the status).
Linking to 2D Files. Fixed a bug that was causing screenshot linking and the design review planner to display a blank drawing when linking to a 2D file such as a DWG file.
