CoLab Software Selected as One of Canada's Top Small & Medium Employers for 2022

ST. JOHN’S, NL – For the second consecutive year, CoLab Software has been selected as one of Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers for 2022. The winners of the 9th annual editorial competition organized by the Canada’s Top 100 Employers project were announced today in print and online. Employers on this list must be private sector commercial organizations with under 500 employees, and are chosen because they offer the nation's best workplaces and forward-thinking human resources policies.

During the selection process, the editors of Canada's Top Small & Medium Employers use the same criteria as the Top 100 competition—evaluating companies on such factors as work atmosphere, employee communications, performance management, and community involvement. Given that Canada’s SME sector represents more than half of the country’s private sector employment, it plays a vitally important role in setting the standard for top employers. “Small and medium employers have the advantage of adaptability,” Mediacorp Senior Editor Kristina Leung points out in a press release. “As new ways of working emerge, such as the growing interest in hybrid work arrangements, smaller employers have the flexibility to experiment and come up with solutions that work for everyone."
